AstraDriod - Devlog (Development Heaven?)

In game development there are three major stages in indie game development, "This is a great idea", "Oh my god, what have i done!?", "Thank god it's over!". Every indie developer has experience these stages while developing their masterpiece; or their Frankenstein's Monster looking baby, hoping it doesn't fall apart as we show it to the world. Whether you are on your first project... or fifteenth - these are familiar stages, and we masochistically love each of them.

Working on AstraDriod: Space shooter, we have experienced these stages in stride; heck, even to just upload the thing had it's issues but we prevailed, after several confusing bug fixes and the far end of several cups of coffee.

It then thus, feel fair to say, video game aren't hard to build, but they are a dedication; or this entire article could be nonsense and no developer has experience this level of stress on game development before? Naah, we very much doubt that. Our games are Artforms, and like any great artform, the process to the end is a challenge, but our love for storytelling, engaging creativity and love of sharing with players is what drives us to reaching that publish button - oh, and our unending thirst need to feel pain ever once in a while.
